Camden-Somers Township Fire & EMS provides comprehensive emergency services to protect our community.
Fire Suppression
Our trained firefighters respond to structure fires, wildland fires, vehicle fires, and other fire-related emergencies with modern apparatus and techniques. We maintain 24/7/365 readiness to protect lives and property in our service area.
EMS & Ambulance Service
We provide Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service staffed by certified paramedics and EMTs. Our crews deliver critical, life-saving interventions in the field and ensure rapid transport to medical facilities.
Public Safety Education
We offer fire prevention education programs for schools, businesses, and community groups. Topics include fire safety, smoke detector installation, escape planning, and CPR/first aid certification courses open to the public.
Community Outreach
Camden-Somers Township Fire & EMS actively engages with our community through open houses, pancake breakfasts, safety demonstrations, and partnerships with local organizations to build strong relationships and promote public safety awareness.
Water Rescue
Our Water Rescue Team is a multi-agency swift water and surface water rescue unit serving the region. The team includes members from Camden-Somers Township Fire & EMS, Gasper Township Fire & EMS, and Eaton Fire & EMS — working together to respond to water emergencies, conduct search and rescue operations, and train regularly to maintain peak readiness on rivers, lakes, and flood-affected areas.
